One of our resident record geeks Ruth spent a very sunny Saturday at the Independent Label Market in Spitalfields, London, last week and mixed with all of the great independent labels that we’re extremely proud to support here at Amazing Radio.
Since coming off UK digital airwaves last week, we’ve been overwhelmed by the reaction and it’s lovely to hear messages of support from the independent labels who are at the heart of what we do. A selection of which you can see in the video above.
Thanks go out to everyone we met on the day, including the lovely founders of Fat Cat Records and One Little Indian, Warp Records, Moshi Moshi, Transgressive, Holy Roar, Bella Union and many more. Thanks also to Kyla La Grange and Gaggle for making an appearance too.
The Independent Label Market is a key example of how strong this sector of the music industry is and how passionate the people working within it are. There are thousands who feel just as strongly and have signed the petition to get us back on DAB and bought a ‘Keep The Faith’ T-Shirt to help emerging musicians.
