TUNE Moyka - Colder
The haunting Colder, with her clean voice swirling upwards in a series of little flourishes, is another floor-filler, punctuated by patches of eerie space and big melodies which seem to come so easily, it’s as though they were composed on the spot. “It’s colder now that our hearts are not on fire,” she sings.
“That feeling comes in waves,” she explains. “When you are in that ditch – where it feels like you can’t do anything right – you go through a lot of pain. When I say, “I love when it hurts”, I mean, I love that it’s not in vain. The relationship is over, but going through the pain leads to some kind of transformation.”
