Dirty Vicky combines some clever concepts. The music is created for an imaginary muse, a mix between a circusfreak and a pornstar. Kind of a Vicky Pollard "avant la lettre". Next to this the band bundles all the songs they've created in an album that they've parked on the iTunes. This album grows little by little. Some call their music Rootsrock, but that's a description that is to narrow for ...this combination of rock,
blues, folk, circusmusic and restless, swarming guitar riffs.
The ep we received matches the vitality we saw at their live concert. Groovy, sinuous
guitar lines, catchy melodies, not to mention the perfectly fitting
voice of the lead singer
Tasty and dirty roots rock
an example of solid songwriting

A nice mix of bright bluesrock with a funky bottom
These guys are certainly worthy following up
The strength of this ep is its great variation. The sound is based on blues rock, but
each song has its own character. "Shoes" is funky, "Praise" is an old-fashioned
stop-start blues rock sing-along, "Gilbert est seul" is a Brussels chanson and so on.
A great start of a very promising band
