Singer-songwriter Emma Arden interweaves powerful melodies with vividly evocative lyrics drawn from personal experience in order to share her stories.
Early operatic training enables Emma to bring a range, depth and timbre to her work that couldn’t be more different today in tone and approach. Her influences are wide and include Jill Scott, Portishead and the Cocteau Twins.
Emma says “After singing classically for so long, I reached a point where I wanted to explore a new kind of music. It’s so exciting to develop different ways of working at a deeper emotional level, which I hope will resonate with my audience.”
