"I wrote Part Time Creep whilst living in Streatham Hill, London and was listening to Sparklehorse and Elliot Smith at the time. It's all about a relationship breaking down and being a taste of your own medicine, although somehow it feels happy! Mixing the track with Ash Workman (Metronomy, Christine & the Queens, Girl Ray, Baxter Dury) we panned the guitars & backing vocals like the Beatles did on their early records and suddenly it took on this intimate but really big sound. It's also a true story . . ."
