Born on August 3, 1996 in Lyon under the sign of Leo, Kobe Martins is a child of the stage overflowing with creative energy. He grew up surrounded by his musician father, his actress mother and friends of the family, circus artists, plastic artists, dancers. Very early on, he showed real dispositions in the artistic fields with his own imagination and freedom of thought.
At 2 years old, Kobe started playing music, at 3 years old practicing dance and since then has pursued his two passions in parallel. Very quickly, he became interested in singing, writing, musical composition. At the age of 10, he began to write songs via computer music.
He participates in many local and international competitions such as "Unsigned Only 2016" (United States) and "Taiwan National University Music competition 2018" during his one year stay in Taipei. He also sings in two groups, notably with his twin brother guitarist, before working on solo projects.
In 2018, KM uploaded a first video tinged with dreaminess: "Self presentation". The song was written in Mandarin Chinese, a language he is fluent in. Open to the world by nature, Kobe also speaks English, Spanish, studies Russian and Dutch.
On August 11, 2020, he released his first song in English entitled "Atomic Hula". This hymn to the Polynesian people recalls the nuclear weapons testing in Moruroa Atoll. The light pop style, deliberately offbeat, is well received by professionals who consider it original. They appreciate the quality of the arrangements and the production and praise the large range and flexibility of the voice.
