Artist: Spector Title: Simplicity Label: Moth Noise Impact Date: 13th December 2019 Spector have returned with new single 'Simplicity’. 'Simplicity’ is the latest piece of new material to surface from a forthcoming EP release, and follows the huge singles 'I Won't Wait' and 'Half Life'. The single sees Spector at their emotive best, crafting a late night introspective cut with huge pop hooks and as always, massively relatable lyric content. Speaking about 'Simplicity', frontman Fred Macpherson said: "Simplicity is about getting the opportunity to leave it all behind: To walk away from the things that make you unhappy, to care less, make better decisions, treat yourself and others more sensitively, to not engage in petty hierarchies, not look at your life in terms of achievements (or lack of them), to spend more time with your family and people you actually like, be less selfish, less bitter, to give something back. It’s about recognising the opportunity to do all those things and not taking it." The release comes ahead of the band's huge UK tour, which kicks off this week and includes a show at London's Oval Space. Tickets are on sale now, and the full list of dates can be found below.
