TUNE Oregon Way - Jean
This is the third single we've released as a band. The songs about being caught between two people and the feeling of being indecisive between those people in your life. The first person being someone you've had a very long and deep relationship with but the relationship is slowly wilting, the second person being someone new in your life who seems to understand you more than the other but you are only just getting know and experience this person; this can echoed in the song from the opening line "I spend my Sundays with Jean". The lyric from the chorus "Jean, you came in just in time" really captures the whole motive behind the song, almost as if that second person has saved you from yourself and the fading relationship you have with the first person.
The song has a natural progression throughout, as it plays out it goes from a soft and playful narrative at the start, finishing with a heavy guitar outro which emulates the breakdown and destruction of the relationship you had with that first person.
