“That’s the magic of The Big Peach. They have the audience tapping their feet and dancing to songs they've only just heard.”
Formed in 2017, The Big Peach combine 60's nostalgia with modern groove and the results are simply irresistible. With one foot in the past but their eyes on the future the band have quickly become an endearing part of Manchester’s current music scene. Their music is a real slice of classic songwriting and there’s something in it for everyone but especially if you’re a fan of swirling guitar riffs, hummable melodies, foot tapping rhythms and good time Rock ‘n’ Roll then The Peach is the fruit for you.
In 2018 the quirky quintet put out a self-titled debut album and this year they released the infectious single ‘All You Gotta Do Is Ask’ and tamla motown inspired 'Run and Hide' via independent label Sour Grapes Records.
So far they have supported a number of touring acts including Californian cats Triptides, Burger Records alumni Levitation Room, Aussie psyche artists Wesley Fuller and The Dandelion, and of course local favourites The Blinders and Fruit Tones.
2018 they headlined when in Manchester festival and took part at Stockport’s Blackthorn festival whilst last year they played the established Bingley weekender in September and put on their own festival PEACHFEST in August 2019.
