The Black Pages are a British rock trio from High Wycombe, where, along with fellow classmate and musician Tom Watson, they formed the band Twelve Gauge in 2006. The quartet enjoyed local success and recorded an EP in winter 2007. As the members parted ways to study at university, the band continued to write music as a 3 piece – often by sending each other demos of songs to work on when they met up. In 2009 they changed their name to The Black Pages and the lineup has remained as it is since. In 2010 they were invited to record a single with EMI Roundhouse Records in Camden as part of the 30/30 Project which was released on iTunes the same year. Two years later the band decided to pursue music full-time and built a studio for themselves in their hometown, independently releasing their demo EP in January 2013 after a series of successful shows in late 2012.
