After kicking off 2018 with their debut EP ‘Fall Down’, the Plymouth-based five-piece are preparing for a loud 2020. Having played extensively across the UK, building a loyal and passionate fan base, The Native have just released their new single ‘Time’.
The bands growing success lead to their most recent headline show at Plymouth Pavilions. This is the South West’s biggest venue with acts such as Oasis, The 1975, Ed Sheeran and Sam Fender previously playing on the same stage. Backed by the likes of BBC Introducing with regular radio play, multiple festival slots and supporting Bastille, It’s clear to see why The Native are one of the fastest rising bands to come out of Plymouth.
With their first London Headline show likely to be a sell out and the release of two of their new singles, this marks the start of a new era for the band, with two more tracks following shortly. These tracks are unlike anything you’ve seen or heard from The Native before. Wrapping heart felt, cavernous vocals in arena sized guitar riffs, with emphatic bass lines and stadium ready-drums. Together this creates a monumental sound which you can’t miss.
2020 seems destined to be a huge year for The Native.
